Senior Packaging Engineer

Tom has more than 30 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering and the design of equipment for packaging, material handling and specialty equipment systems. His experience covers a wide range of industries including food and beverage, paper and personal care products.

Tom has experience in a diverse array of packaging projects, notably: cereal, snack foods, aerosol cooking sprays, aerosol whipped cream, canned vegetables, nutrition bars, shampoos & conditioners, aerosol & non-aerosol hair sprays, hair dyes, bar soap, toothpaste & gels in tubes, mouthwash, bulk granular products and pharmaceutical products. Tom’s skills include material flow and handling studies, equipment design, product flow analysis, production needs analysis, plant layout and design, time studies, staffing needs analysis, project management, construction supervision, performance testing and line efficiency improvement analysis.

Tom earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Cincinnati and is a great addition to Process Plus’ growing Packaging Department.
